Beach

While this isn't our first time to the beach this year...
...it is the first time we didn't have to bring snow-shoes, a parka, and a walrus just to keep warm.

Saturday we took a trip to the Greenfield Village in Dearborn for the Day out with Thomas the Train.

We liked the area so much we put a bid in on this house.

Movie Review

Today was the day for Samuel's first trip to the movie theater. With a bucket of popcorn that was 50% of Samuel's size and enough beverage to irrigate most of Darfur we sat for Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. Samuel gave it good reviews stating how pleased he was to see the director had stuck so closely to the book. It was a good time.

Icecapade

Without the use of crampons or supplemental oxygen we climbed to the tops of these ice formations on the shores of Lake Michigan.
The ice-cliff was about 25 ft. high.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL!

Thursday of this week marked the completion of Abigail's first trip around the sun. She celebrated the day in much the same way she celebrates most Thursdays. We will be partying in a week. Stay tuned for pictures.
